Standupforsouthport#StandUpForSouthport was the brainchild of Andrew Brown with the intention of shouting out all of the many good things happening in our great town, as well as doing what we can to help our community.
Over the next few months, we will be using social media etc to bring awareness to the cause and create a greater sense of pride within our town.
Come and join us and shout out all the good that is happening on our group.

What’s On Southport

What's On SouthportWhats On Southport is a Facebook group that was set up 2 years ago by Mark Pickup from Southport TV as he felt there wasn’t a dedicated page for all things local entertainment. The page is heavily moderated and only posts that are hospitality and entertainment related get approved, they just hit 4,000 members last month and are constantly being asked whats going on every weekend and so are strongly urging local bars / restaurants / hotels / event organisers etc to post their content on there.

Crimewatch Southport and Surrounding Areas

Local Crime Reports in the Area. Very well established group with over 25,000 members.

Also lost and found items, scams, missing people. Not just Southport, surrounding areas are also covered in this group.
